Thanks - but this was good sized when I got it (4 years ago) - it had 7 mature fans, plus 3 small ones at the time My other Neos seem to grow new fans at a higher rate than this one, BUT this one blooms well every year, and my other Neos, not so much so

RandomGemini - I'm not positive how may growths there are ... 13, I think - It's hard to count, when small, newer fans come up in-between the bigger fans.

This looks like a really interesting and unusual Dendrobium? I wish you'd post a separate thread and identify what it is and other pertinent information (size, fragrance, how is it grown?)

Sonya, I remember this plant from last year. I'm glad to see it is doing well this year. Lovely!

Looks like D. tobaense, which of course does not need to be here.

But look at that plant. I only just figured out how to get mine to grow, for the last year it's been largely inactive. It boggles the mind that one could be grown so well.

I did get the benefit of it already being a good size when I got it four years ago I do have a smaller growing Neo that is passing this one in number of fans, but it has so far refused to bloom
