very beautiful! The flower looks very heavy in substance and a very dark green as well! the form itself might still improve in later years when it grows more maturely and the flower spikes develop better, anyway great growing!!!

The green has faded to a soft jade color now, but the fragrance! I can't believe such a tiny flower can pack such an aromatic punch! Just wonderful!! My favorite scented orchid so far!!

The fragrance of the Hsui is alluring. I think it has a stronger scent than other Neofinetia. The flowers seem to last longer too. When I acquired this one, it encouraged me to find more Neofinetia with different colored flowers.

I also read the "product" description somewhere regarding this plant and it said it is somewhat different than the typical neo scent.
It only makes me want to get this plant!

The fragrance is a lot cleaner than my other scented orchids, not perfumey at all. If all neos have a similar scent... I think I might be replacing, oh... just about all of my phals in my collection with neos.
I have a Dendrobium Micro Chip (I like greenish flowers, what can I say? ) in bloom next to it and the scents are very distinctive, the two together is kind of nice in the mornings, right when the sun hits the blooms, but I would also be very happy with the neo's scent alone.

NYC!!! There is a Hsui up for auction on eBay. I think it ends on Sunday?? or Saturday?? If you get this one, you'll understand why folks like Random and me really like this plant.
Here is the plant NYC.
