I had no idea you could grow these in that type of media, they look very happy.

It might just seem to be growing slowly because it was a seedling when I bought it. Maybe now that it is blooming size, it will have more growth.

These do very well in red lava rock. The bean and needle were tiny seedlings with about three leaves when they were first put in it.
