Thank you Dries, NeoCanada, WhiteRabbit!
NeoCanada, it sounds like you have a lot of experience with this variety. Does it follow a cycle going from bright variegation to greening and back to color again throughout the seasons? Or has the variegation to be maintained with a special regimen of care?
If you have any picts you'd care to share to illustrate that would be absolutely wonderful. Thanks in advance!

Hi Miss Catt, the secret to Hokage variegation is dependent on your surroundings. If your plant keeps variegation in a certain location, do not move it. Usually it's an area that has bright light and high humidity, with cooler evenings. If it starts greening and lose variegation, move it to slightly higher light slowly... Best locations are west windows near open windows for cool night air. Hope this helps

So with optimum growing conditions the HOKAGE variegation is pretty stable. Very exciting, thank you for the fast response!
