Hehehe, you should be writing for TV news: "Police arriving at the scene made a grim discovery..."

Ouch! Yes, I imagine you used all sorts of "colorful" language when you discovered what you had done. You won't likely make that mistake again anytime soon. I think most of us have a relatable experience somewhere in our past, though that is cold comfort. Ah well, a chance for a new beginning ......

Thanks to the generosity of Kristen and New World Orchids, I was able to replace my lost Tamakongou, Hoshiguruma, Hisui, Kibana. Thank you all for your concerns and especially to New World Orchids.

Sorry about the loss, Matt. Don't beat yourself up over it. Life is too short. Glad you were able to replace some of them. Thumbs up to NWO!

Thank you both for your condolences! I think the replacement plants are nicer than the ones I inadvertently consigned to a wintery death!

To Jayfar:
Death By Winter
The cutting chill harbors Winter's death.
Yet in the stillness of this bitter cold,
The Sun's warmth brings hope for Spring's return.
