Spring! Now What?
On Tuesday, May 20th, very early in the morning I woke up to the sound of thunder. Even before I had my cup of coffee, I pulled all of my Neofinetia trays out of their winter homes and laid them out on the deck to get rain water. The rest of the day they spent drying out and I left them outside overnight and all day yesterday. Today, they spent the entire day getting lots of ambient light and a nice warm breeze. But tonight I have to bring them all in as the overnight temperature will be mid-40*F--too cool for me to end up worrying. So I have put them in the screened in porch, where they should be okay. Tomorrow will also be on the cool side, so they will stay under cover. But starting Saturday, the temperatures will be warmer.
Sorry for this weather discussion. We are finally getting "Spring weather" one month late!
