I should add that the neo terrarium will be a bit fuller next week. I sort of fell off the wagon... Again.

Your collection looks really lovely. Growing them in LECA and glass vases gives them a very clean and modern look. I'm going to have to try this method. You bought more Neos? SUPER! What did you get?

A Isechabo, a Hanagoromo, a Kogane-Nishiki, and (sigh) at long last, my very own... Manjusahage. All from Satomi.
I really must be stopped. I have no self control when it comes to these plants.

Woohoooo! "You go girl." LOL! Yup you managed to acquire very desirable Neofinetia--especially that legendary Manjushage. I am still looking for this plant. Been going back and forth mentally on pulling the trigger on acquiring one of these Manjushage. Congratulations!

Yea, I made the mistake of asking her if she had any manjushage, and whaddayaknow, she has three! I had the email all written politely explaining my impetous request and that "no, I really shouldn't"... Then I erased it and asked how to pay her!
So Matt, if you want my advise (you do not, as I am trigger happy), I say pull the trigger.

Egads Matt! As many fuukiran as you buy, odds are that you should have acquired 2 or 3 Manjushage just by accident.
I've got various things just starting to spike, including posibly two on the Manjushage that arrived with a severed spike last year, but the only thing blooming so far is my next to most recent fugaku.

Spring! Now What?
You would think I would have a Manjushage. But I just have a problem spending over $150.00 for any plant. Every time I've tried to bid on one, the bidding goes sky high. I'm sure if you add up all the $20 plants I've purchased, I could have many Manjushage. I can rationalize buying 10 plants totaling $200.00 but I can't get over paying $200 for one plant. For you, and Joy, and Ginger and all of the others who have joined the Manjushage Club, I salute you and someday, I will have this plant!
Remember Death By Winter? That was 12 beautiful plants averaging out at $25 per plant. I hate doing the math. But that history makes me pause...

I doubt you will ever make that mistake again, Matt.
Jay, I would love to see your Manjushage when it blooms.

Totally true Joy. I am getting my deck ready for the great migration outside. Overnight temperature is still too low for me to be comfortable. Dr. Kristen advised that she and Dr Glenn will migrate to their breezeway at the end of May. They are about a hundred miles north of me. I volunteered to help them, so I might find another Neofinetia or two that I just have to acquire.
