Question for you Neo growers
I was wondering if any of you Neo lovers are also into growing some of the other neat and unusual non-orchid genra that the Japanese have been cultivating for years, such as Rhodea, Aspidistra, Rhapis, Asarum, etc. My eyes were opened this past weekend to some of the varieties of Aspidistra (cast-iron plants) that are becoming available and figured some other Neo lovers might also be into these as well.

I grow Den. moniliforme, Sedirea japonica, and Ponerorchis graminifolia, but not the others. I would like to try my hand at Cym. goeringii at some point.

I grow myoga ginger (the flowers are used as an herb). I have tried to grow the herb, Aoshiso but they get overwhelmed by whiteflies.
Orchid-wise, like coffeecup, I have Sedirea japonica and Den. moniliforme. I do have a small Asian Cym. hybrid but it's not necessarily Japanese.

I have a bunch of Den. moniliformes and some S. japonica. Similar to coffeecup, I kinda want to go into Cym. goeringii but the price tag on those is really high.
I saw a bulbophyllum at SE's booth during the POE. That was pretty neat. Price tags on em are high though. $60~ I think?

Every time I go to the flower market; I can’t pass up on looking at all the goeringii. There is one dealer he always has about 20 or more different ones and the price can go from reasonable to wow.
I bought two one is C. goeringii ‘Jin ji huang’ and the other is C. goeringii ‘Dafugui’ and we have C. goeringii ‘Yang guang Qi lian’ with a huge seed capsule developing, so we are excited when that happens.
