I still do not own a Manjushage, Momohime, Fukiden, and Beni-missou. I confess that I am reluctant to reveal the height of my acquisition addiction, so please understand I am not bragging, just stating facts.
I would continue to buy more but I have run out of space. Speaking of which--I now know what the crew on the Starship Enterprise experienced when they had a preponderance of Tribbles!

Oh my... you can almost start your own nursery by now then? If I ever cannot find a certain variety, I'll have to contact u . For the moment I only own 9 different neo's, of which one is walking it's way on dead row :s... but I am kind of on the brink of wanting to buy some new ones, depending on what NWO has to offer ....
And to answer your question, I am sorry to inform u that we will not be coming to the US (not that I don't want to) but since either of us has a job (i'm still finishing up an extra internship on top of my degree as farmaceutical and biological research laboratory bachelor) we will save the money we have for a few neo's maybe and save the rest for building a living or getting a trip to japan . But I would have loved it to meet all the fellow neo (nuts) enthousiasts out there !!!

Dries, too bad about not coming to Philadelphia. I understand how you have to carefully manage your income to meet your goals. I have been in your shoes. As far as a nursery, yes! The number of plants would be indicative of a developing nursery. But I grow my plants indoors--I do not want to spend extra funds building a greenhouse and empowering that greenhouse. The price of electric and natural gas is very expensive to keep me warm. I cannot imagine spending money to keep plants warm in a greenhouse! I'm just not that hardcore. LOL!

... Says someone who is able to collect 152 new neo var's in less than a year time! An achievement only equaled by the best of pokemon trainers... .
I must say that I am still quite unaware of the costs of daily life like electrical bills... for now.... but I know plenty of people here or in the Netherlands who have build their own greenhouse, some bought, some DIY with the cheapest material they could find, but most of them seem to be quite succesful in keeping it affordable. (I even saw one with walls made out of huge strips of bubblewrap!)
anyway... I cannot even imagine where to put that much neo's, how small they may be even...

Thanks for pointing that out!
We will also be at the Illinois Orchid Festival in Chicago March 8-9, Ann Arbor Orchid Show (Mar 22-23), and the Shore Orchid Festival at Silva Orchids in Neptune, NJ June 6-8. Nothing west of Chicago yet, but we're open to invitations
I'm trying to keep things up to date on our Facebook page, so any new additions to our schedule will be there.

It's official!!! I'm definitely finding a way to come to the Show Orchid Fest!!! I might be able to go and help with sales and such with Fishing Creek Orchids and use that as my excuse to justify going

I couldn't tell you, Kristen. The club seems really nice but its very small. I wouldn't want to speak out of turn either... I just know I'd be THRILLED to have you guys here. Heck I'd even host you at my house... of course I'd talk your ear off, too, but my kiddo will provide entertainment
If you really want me to, I can certainly ask the club. I'm not a member as I can never get to meetings etc but I'd be happy to foster communications.
Edit-- nevermind-- same weekend as your chicago engagement.

I think I may brave the 4 hour drive and hit up SEPOS. Does anyone know which day would be best?
