Yesterday, after my sensei gave me a link to a Japanese site with a bazillion moniliforme pics with plants names in kanji and hiragana (yes, I did use Google translate but it is fun to learn), wanted to find a site that could help with how to say the name, not necessarily a translation as my hiragana is very rusty and know only a handful of kanji. You might find this helpful and fun.

I am not nitpicking, and just a comment. They are not necessarily Den. moniliforme although they are 石斛/Sekkoku. The situation is similar to that of 風蘭/Fûran. It is a word that broadly covers the group of Den. moniliforme cultivars and hybrids, involving the species (or Neofinetia for the matter). Many of them are hybrids, so you may want to buy only the ones with information on collection sites if having a legit background is a concern.
