Technically the genus Neofinetia was reclassified as Vanda last year, by the way, but most of us still prefer to call them Neofinetia.

I agree about those parts. But whether Shutenno means Red Emperor, not so much.

I tend to agree but this is what I read:

"Since there could only be one emperor in the Kingdom of Neofinetia"

Then I have to say, "O RLY?" like the white owl. Who said there could be only one emperor or it is about emperor to begin with? I think there is much nonsense perpetuated by this "Samurai" orchid myth (crap).

I also basically think we should be happy with how plants look like as I wrote previously.
