I was logged into Google, so I logged out again. I was able access one file before it kicked me out. I'm thinking this is an incompatibility with my iPad and Google. I'll try to access your drive on a PC later on. Five hundred files! You have done a lot of work.

To add to this, there IS a variegated Oonamiseikai, I think it's tiger striped.

Speaking of "Hime"Seikai, Seed Engei has one up for bid, auction ending Tuesday, November 12th. Thanks s.kallima for translating the word "Hime". I've seen this prefix added to other plants I've seen, such as the Hime-Manjushage 姫曼珠, up for auction the same night as Hime-Seikai. Even though Seed Engei clearly states these plants as "seedling of" I did not get the connection.

There's definitely a shima version. I'll go check my books when I'm back home.
I also completely forgot about Hime-Seikai. I have one! It looks completely different from Seikai in my opinion.

I was wrong it's not a tiger stripe. Just a normal stripe, which I like better in this case. Anyways, it's Oonami-seikai-shima

I had to update my folders as it seems Gdrive only shows 500 items in each folder. I have 550 pdf files with different varieties of Fuukiran and this number is growing...
So I split the files from A-S varieties, then T-Z
enjoy : files here

Adrienne, that is interesting. It must be an affectation, sort of like "Boo Boo Baby Honeybear"? The two plants up for auction, mentioned earlier are all noted as seedlings of...I saw a third plant, HIME-KAIOUMARU 姫海王丸, this one is up for auction on Tuesday, November 11. It is also noted as a seedling. These almost inscrutable Japanese names are totally entertaining.
