My first neo. Falcata i got a week or two ago. (Which i love this little plant.) had four tiny buds when i got it. They started blastning after being repotted and to my surprise one kept growing!. It started opening this morning and i came home just now to find this little one about fully opened. Im excited. . . Sorry for the crappy phone pictures i need to find my camera

Cool that you got at least one bloom and don't worry I'm sure you'll have plenty more next spring. Have you smelled it? The scent is usually most noticeable at night.

I see from one of your previous posts that it's a Neofinetia falcata Amami Island variety from Hausermann's.

The sticky threads in this section should give you a lot of information on growing Neos, but any questions, just ask.

Here are a couple culture sheets:

It's so exciting to finally see that long awaited, newly opened flower. Neos are so cute and smell good too. Just remember that you can never have just one, they always seem to need one more friend.
