It has been rather a slow grower, but normal compared to my other neo and its hybrids.
the thing is that the whole thing is just cute to look at and the leaves do have some dark tinge coming from the other parent, so I like it as is. but of course, I would love to see one day some flowers on this guy.
good luck with that one mister..mine blasted for the 2nd time in 2 seasons. I got one bunch of flowers out of it and they by any measure were 'uneventful'. didnt hang right and were all over the place. The plants look good though. blooming ugh..
the most Ive ever gotten since 1st bloom.
Its now 4 plants and if it didnt look so good I would have tossed it a long time ago..
RJSquirrel, if you make that decision to toss it, I'll send you postage to mail it my way. This is a beautiful plant! I would also wager, if you give it nice dry, cool winter with lost of bright light, and circulating humid air, it will bloom for you come Spring.
That looks quite large compared to how big mine is!
Well, my neostylis ( I know it's an old name but I prefer) Pinky Starry Night blasted on me twice in the last couple of years. This year it is pushing two spikes for the first time. I hope it pulls through and give me some flowers. I almost dumped it last fall but didn't.
