I know Seed-Engei will make good on its plants - I was just sent a replacement moniliforme for one that didn't fare so well after sitting the post office for almost 2 weeks when I didn't receive any tracking info.

We are all human and make mistakes. The other day I received a box of plants from another vendor (not my plants) with someone else's name and my address. Contacted the vendor who gave me the address and reimbursed the shipping cost. I wonder what was in the box...it was so much bigger than mine!

Oh, I know they will take care of it....it was just so frustrating since it has taken me literally years to finally bid on one of these (and living a half hour from them)....I still have not heard from them so it still could be a tracking number mistake....I hope.

You are correct Adrienne the problem almost always starts with the shipping; vendors are always complaining about the treatment of boxes clearly marked as live plants. Some vendors won't ship in the hard winter months not because of the weather but that they don't trust the shippers.

Do you live in Vista, California? My package states it was delivered yesterday 11/04/13. I have sent Satomi and email asking her to investigate.

No Matt, that is where my package says it was delivered to as well....Vista....I live in Santee, a half hour-ish from Vista. Where was your plant supposed to have gone? Someone in Vista got some nice plants!

I am not happy that your box and my box are in Vista, CA. But I am glad you mentioned it and was able to set up the alarms for lost packages. I am sometimes too lax in follow up. I haven't heard back from Satomi but with you and I emailing her, this should get her going to investigate.

Fortunately for you Skinny, you are close to Seed Engei. My box goes to Fort Wayne, Indiana. I wish I was being shipped to Vista, California!

hmmm, while the weather may be nice most of the time I think you would find the traffic beyond belief....it used to take me 1-2 hours to get home from work a few years ago....normally takes 20 minutes at an off time....not as bad as LA but still...
