Matt, your sister is crazy: I prefer pots and all things Apple in black. Never understood the white iPhone/iPad thing.
I have my black iPod Touch in a black case. If I get an iPhone, it will be black in a black case.

I got a white (the only color available) Macbook for my GF a couple years ago that she only uses around the house. That thing is so smudged up with makeup and dirt, even though I keep nagging her to wipe it down.

I know what you both mean. White is such a hard color to keep clean. Crazy sister. Yup, she thought the Snow Queen in the movie Chronicles of Narnia, was a very attractive use of white on white.

Acquiring Neofinetias Via EBay
Speaking of pots, what do all think of New World Orchid's creativity? Nice Unkai up for auction.

There are two of them! I have seen this Yorodouishi in person. It was impressive in its nursery, but looks pretty good in its new planter. The comment says the potting material is just for display, but I think New World Orchids is suggesting using our precious Neofinetia as decoration! I like that.

japaneseorchids has a total of 45 plants listed now, evenly divided between Wed thru Fri nights. I'll be sitting out this round - maybe.
Also, orchids_limited has added several more buy-it-now selections.

I guess I too prefer my neos in the classic black pots. I bought several with the intention of painting on the black glaze, but havent got around to it yet. I think the pumpkins are cute though! Why shouldnt noes be used for decoration. Theyre adorable!

I think NWO's use of gourds is a great idea especially for our orchid show this weekend!

Adrienne, your society is having a show this weekend? So is mine! I'm taking this Friday off to help our vendors set up. Our show theme is "Orchid Art". I'm putting a couple of my Neofinetia plants in the Asian Art table.
