It is reasonably priced but will probably get bidded higher. I looked again at the plant's photos. The evidence of the three spurred flower confirms its status. But you are right Jeremiah, I think having just one growth is too much a risk. And this one growth doesn't look very vibrant. I guess I'm being too picky!

Nope not too picky I am surprised that the fan has a spike.

Hi Ginger, that is part of my reticence--I have seen flowers on single plants, I have had that experience with my Kirin-maru earlier this year. Since that plant flowered it hasn't done anything except grow roots. On the other hand I am watching a Nishidemiyako 西出都 "West Side of Kyoto", it arrived in bloom, and is now blooming again and with just one growth. As I continue to learn about Neofinetia, I realize no two Neofinetia are the same. This is further underscored by an earlier discussion Jayfar has engaged in regarding the Surasume with two seed pods.

Knowing how I am growing these plants, this a lot of money to spend on a single growth plant. I have arrived at that point where I was buying anything that remotely sounded or looked like a Neofinetia. Now any plant is looked at critically especially these plants that approach the century value and beyond.

Oh I agree Matt there is so much to learn about these plants I am loving it. Like you I had been buying Neos indiscriminately now that I am learning more about them I would prefer to see them IRL before buying them. I envy you being able to go to NWO it is so worth the trip. I love your contribution to this Board just love it.

Okay! I am certainly in that boat! Now I'm wondering who did get that little bean leaf.

There's a bid on the Oonami Seikai! Anyone here? If so, I'll let it go. If no one speaks up, I'll do a little counter bidding.
