Hello coffeecup! I received my three Phalaenopsis today! What a nice surprise. You packed my new plants beautifully--the Postal Service did not treat the box very well. When I saw the box, I had some dread that I would open a box full of Phalaenopsis milk shake, but your superb packing protected the precious plant cargo.
Thank you so much. When you redo your list can I have your update? I might just take you up on your offer!

Don't temp me! I don't have space. I just ordered a bunch of heat mats for the temp sensitive plants (remembering the 10 cold days last winter), figuring out how to clump plants together for light, etc.
I am curious, tho.
And not going to the Orchids in the Park this weekend. Nope, not going. No no no.

OMG Matt!! That box!! I am sooo glad the plants were fine though. Wow! By the way, I grow my Phals in coir if you were wondering. I've had great results with it.
Orchids in the Park...I know, I'm debating too. I do have the day off. I may just "visit." LOL

Yup! You can imagine how my heart stopped when I opened the parcel lockbox. But all is well! I was wondering what that media was. I'm going to keep these three plants in this media to see how I do with this media. I have seen it in other orchidist nursery.
Thanks again for providing these beautiful plants.

Oh, how I wish I could bid for Neo's on eBay, but alas they won't ship to South Africa. Its the same with buying Neo's, none of the vendors are willing to send to send down to South Africa. I'm so envious at the ease that you guys can get your hands on those little gems!!

Hi Craig! Thank you for providing your point of view. I forget that there are parts of the world that don't seem to have access like we have in North America or Europe to orchids. Glenn Lehr, New World Orchds, shared with me that he can only ship outside of the USA to Canada and Europe. And that is a very complicated process. He rattled off CITES, SEPEC, and a whole lot of other abbreviations. I can imagine how difficult it would be to do all the paperwork to get to Africa not to mention the travel time! There have been some Europeans, such as Driese who have indicated that even though he is European, the Neofinetia he gets is even more expensive as his purchase price covers all the fees and paperwork to get his plant to Belgium.
