Ugh! Sorry to hear that. That was a nice 2 growth one too. The one I bought is only a single growth (but also nice).

As you may have read upthread, I had a similar experience this week with a Manjushage arriving with the spike severed. Satomi offered me a choice of an exchange for a smaller in-spike plant at lower cost or a discount off the one I received. I went for keeping the one I received with a 10% refund.

What was the packing like?

The packing looked good, which is why I was so surprised to find it broken.

Hmm, in my case the packing would have seemed sufficient, but within the newspaper wrapping there was too much loose space, hence I found the plant and moss mostly out of the pot and the spike broken. I think they really need to look into using sticks and cotton the way Peter Lin does.

This one was in the pot and the moss was still intact, so I'm not sure what exactly happened.

Is the plant alright? It could've just been nature doing it's thing, propagation through separation. It happens with Neos and they don't always form into one root clump.

Unless you mean the fan is literally broken, then okay, that's pretty bad. But if two growths just happened to have separated, it just means you have two individual plants now (clones).

Orchids Limited sure has a lot of Neofinetia listed. They have this one plant: Nangoku no mai' 南国の舞 - 8 growth + listed for $400.00. It is a beautiful plant!

Yay!!!! Very impressive list! Looks like there's something for everyone.

Unless Matt buys them all.

"Yodonomatsu, 7 growths with 2 more coming in" is mine!

Thanks coffeecup!

Well I was going to PM you coffeecup but I thought I'd refrain and let folks like Jayfar get a chance! I will PM you now and see what leftovers you have and compare what I don't already have in my growing collection. And negotiate re-homing fees with you.
