Can anyone tell me which of the following bean leafs would be more 'desireable' based on traits? And also what is the difference between them? Thanks!
Tamakongou, Yodo-no-matsu, Kasen

Jayfar, I think it is the misplaced dot syndrome too. I do not have any of these $1000 plants but at this price, they would be just another expensive plant I would love to own but I have to stop spending money just because its a Neofinetia! LOL.

From seed engei description
YODONOMATSU is similar to Tamakongo which is bean leaf variety. Compared to Tamakongo, this variety become larger and color is lighter. Tsuke( connection between leaf and stem) is kind a interesting and have ocean-wave Tsuke but very close to straight.

Thanks for the input! I think I like Yodo-no-matsu and Tamakognou best, looks like they both have ocean wave tsuke. Do you all know which is smaller?

Cool. Orchids Ltd. claims Tamakongo is "The most famous bean leaf." I've had it on my wish list there for a while, but I've already got enough been leafs for the time being. |
