Same here, just incase Satomi erroneously prices a Daishogun for $50.00 BIN and none of you are looking.

That could almost happen, except I'm virtually always looking. The all-seeing eye here.

Here is an usual plant in that it has a "mountain tsuke". I emailed Satomi about this variety and she said the only other plant that was in her inventory was a "Sengaku". But doesn't have one now. I'd like to get this plant but by auction ends it may be too expensive LOL!

One that I avoided gambling on went for 182.50 last night (bid up from 79.99).

Neofinetia falcata(japaneseorchid)/stripe variety/stripes just come out/RYOGA 凌賀
Neofinetia Falcata Japaneseorchid Stripe Variety Stripes Just Come Out Ryoga

Quote:
RYOGA is mutation from Amami-furan and produce beautiful striped variegation.

It is robust kind that has the widest leaf of all Fukiran and every leaf has stripes.

This is the new star of Fukiran!!

Size
single growth,
It was no stripes on the leaves but just come out now.
If will be growing like a sample it's gonna be $700 to$1000 plant!! better to buy NOW!!
That seems like a pretty big IF, given the small amount of variegation in the photo. Someone either bought a great collectors item if more variegation appears later on this growth or on new growths, or they may have a very pricey, but otherwise run-of-the-mill, Amami furan.

We have similar tastes it seems. I put in the first bid on this one and had my finger over the increase bid button in the last seconds. But I had set myself a $45 limit on this one and it took great willpower to stick to it. I had also been watching the Kinginrasha,as I like it‘s looks, but by that time I had already bought Kujyakumaru ,Daiseiryu and Hoshiguruma and forced myself to refrain.
Grow them well ( better than me I'm sure) and post pics from time to time.
How do you access the Seed Engei monthly list I've seem mentioned here. It is different from their regular on line catalog ,isn't it?

Yes, I don't know whether it's updated monthly, but it's a spreadsheet. The August one is the first I ever knew of. Email to seed_engei@yahoo.com to request a copy.

The online catalog is updated very infrequently. I know a specific plant that I bought 2 months ago still shows there as available (I'm sure they have other Seikai, but the one pictured in the online catalog lives with me).

Based on how you have your Neofinetia displayed, I think I can learn a lot from you! The three plants you acquired were plants I would have bid on, but I already own those plants. Yes, I think we have similar taste. But I really have to stop watching these eBay auctions as I end up buying!
