Right now they are with the phals under the t5 HO but slightly more elevated, about 3 ft below the bulbs. They humidity in their area ranges from 50 to 60% right now, and I have decided to only water them with distilled water under we get a RO system. I want them to be happy!

No it has not bloomed for me, grew well the first summer I had it (2011) then rot the top leaf and it took months for the plant to grow again , lost again that new leaf!
Finally this summer it grew side shoots...
This is how it looks now

I guess this is a plant only a mother would love or another Neonut!! Your photography makes this plant a whole lot better looking than what is up for bid on eBay. But I can still see around the stem near the tsuke how emaciated or rough the leaves look.

So my Sedirea died on my just leaf by leaf got brown in the middle and died. I initially tried to save it when the first leaf started getting brown by doing the same thing Pilot did but to no avail. Now I am hesitant to get another until I learn how to grow them. I am so disgusted I hate losing a plant. How do you guys keeps them thriving?

How are you keeping it? Did you inspect roots when it started to brown? It shouldn't be a difficult orchid to keep. I keep mine in sphagnum moss and water when moss is crispy. All it needs is bright indirect sunlight, although I have kept it in direct morning light in the past with no ill effects. Recently, it does get some direct afternoon light and still no ill effects.
I water it with tap and fertilize only when I remember to (which is like, once a month or so).

That I just what I thought I was doing. Thanks for the info Jeremiah. I suspect that I am a heavy handed waterer because the roots were mushy. Was it supposed to be planted with the hole in the middle like the Neos? I need to water with a measuring cup or something. I cannot believe I killed that beautiful plant that came to me in perfect health...actually blooming.
