From what I gather, Ryan, he had this trip to the UK scheduled in June 2013 but he had to delay to this month. Furthermore, I think he did this trip a year ago or two years ago and it was so successful that he planned to do it this year. You'll see that announcement on New World's Website.

Believe it or not but skalima had posted a link to a French site that is dedicated to Neos and on THAT website, it announced that the good Doctor was heading to the UK and highly recommened people get in their pre-orders. I tried to find on that website if there was a show or something, but could not.

So funny I thought I was the only one on the Board that had to sneak orchids by my husband. If they don't see the box they don't know it's a new orchid. Plus, mine has no idea of the cost of these little beauties. Do you guys have the same issues with your significant others about buying orchids?

Have the vendor ship your package hold for pickup at the shipping facility. Go there, unpack orchid, slip in small bag to protect it and put in handbag/shoulder bag/messenger. 4 or 5 Neos fit very well in a messenger bag.

Me? I never, ever, ever do this.

YMMV with larger Phals.

I get around the orchid judgement by actively trading. If an orchid comes in, it's not an issue if one is going OUT, too.

Since we've got in the habit of using this thread as a kind of catch-all for all things Neo, let me add this side trip.

If you want to see a monster-size specimen Neo with over 300 blooms, google up the following thread on the slippertalk forum: "Neo falcata - a few hundred flowers"

That is one gorgeous plant. If he doesn't post on this forum, I hope people go over there to take a look.

Holy cow, I just googled it and saw the thread. NINE (9) whole years! From two growths to that beast. Man oh man, that's dedication folks! I can only hope I can keep my Neo collection for that long without running into any problems. I want them to be family heirlooms! Hahahaha.
