Have one neo in a mesh pot and it loves it. Growing like crazy!

Here's where I get my pots. Buy their little two inch mesh pots and put them upside in the bottom for more air circulation.

Yup I have a few of the 2.75" and just received a few of the 3.0". I'm looking more for something around the 2.0"-2.25" range. the 2.75 is way to large for my kuroshinjo. However, i don't think they make them in the 2.0" - 2.25" range?

I think the smallest those footed Neof pots is the 2.75" pot, Marco. That is the size pot my Kuroshinju 黒真珠 is in. But to counteract the over potting, I have a very small net pot inside the moss mound. Now that you have this Kuroshinju, another related plant is Ao-shinju 青真珠. This is known as the "Blue Pearl". Good luck getting this one, it took me a couple of years to find one.

Good idea. Unfortunately, right now i need to be a tad more selective with neos that i purchase. I think I may only have room for one or two more. So it works out well.

To that point i will have to enjoy yours as i wait. Do you have photos? I don't remember seeing one on your flickr. what makes it different from kuroshinjo?

My Suigai from eBay vendor japaneseorchids!

Incredible amount of roots and lots of fans/growths. Acquired with very little money! What is not to love?

Thanks Marco. The one on the left is another Shutennou. This one has more fans than the Shutennou I acquired from Tom. But the leaves are not as long. The one on the right is Kujakumaru. It is also a multi-growth plant. These three plants came from Seed Engei.

Things was crazy last night on Ebay. Lost one neo because we were outbid in the last three seconds. Ah well, at least it's going to someone who wanted it as much as I did.

The only bid I won was for the Fugaku. The one I really wanted. Can't believe I got it for the price I did.

Will post a picture when she's arrived and remounded.
