The Santa Barbara event is next weekend. She should be coming back to the US with her father.

So with Satomi in Japan and Dr. Glenn already in Southern California with the potential of both of these folks spending the week in Santa Barbara, CA, do you all think Jason F. will also be there?
Wow, the thought that our three big Neo experts are in one place is staggering. I wish I can get on a plane and get out there to meet these three folks BUT I'd rather spend the money on NEOS than a plane ticket. Like Pilot Ryan has in his signature: "I Wish Orchids Could Fly!"

This is why I begged to get this weekend off work. It is a rarity for Dr. Lehr to be traveling this far west in my opinion. I spoke to him on the phone earlier this spring when he told me he was coming. I made sure to make any arrangements I could to be there. I haven't heard anything about Jason, and I know last year, he mailed Neos to be entered in judging. We shall see and I will be posting copious amounts of photos...

Who else is going to this by the way? Anyone, anyone?

I'm pretty sure he will not be attending but I can ask him tomorrow. Maybe he will let me take some photos of his giant Sekai to show you guys.

Jayfar reminded me that the Neofinetia version of Peter Lin is running the Fukiran Society of America Judging Event. Are you going to be at this event too LinhT ? Please give us some reporting too and picture, especially of that plant you mentioned.

Acctually, I think Peter T. Lin just runs the Fukuran Society of America and its website. According to the Cal Orchid website Satomi will be heading the judging. And I see Seed Engei's pre-order list is posted there as a downloadable spreadsheet:

No, unfortunately I can not make out there this year. I have, maybe 4 plants I hope to enter in the next few years once they reach 10+ growths but for now I don't think I have anything that would get me 1st place. However, entry or no entry, I think it would be a fun experience for any fuukiran fan to participate in.
