Of course the downside, as mentioned in forums by folks who have attended, is the typical hot humid weather and pesky flying insects that like to bite. Looks like 80F at the moment there, with 80% RH, going up to 87F this afternoon.

I hope Satomi didn't pass out from the heat as her eBay site has been very quiet!

One of these days, there will be a show that I'll attend and Seed Engeil will be there. I was all set to go to SEPOS when you announced that Seed Engei was not going to be present.

She or her sister should be here (San Jose) in a couple of weeks then again in late July (San Francisco). Didn't she just do Redlands? Probably just busy juggling shows and shipments.

You're like a junkie looking for a fix!

You got that right AnonYMouse!

BTW, I have resorted to buying Neofinetia look alikes such as Renanthera! LOL!

It has been awhile since my last Neofinetia purchase. Seed Engei is doing shows and other events so....this was a Fugaku-Hou 富嶽宝 up for bid and I managed to win the bid for less than I thought I would....turns out the seller was someone I Facebooked.

Nice one Matt. I just bought a Darwinara Charm 'Blue Star' x Neofinetia falcata from Ebay this AM to add to the package of the catt I bought from the same seller.

Thanks Matt, I think it will be here tomorrow. I will post a picture. I think he had 5, I got the last one. I hope it's nice. Everything I ever got from him has been healthy.

He does post on this OrchidBoard. But never mentions he is also an eBay vendor....which is very considerate on his part. I have bought many different orchids from him and they are still ALIVE! and growing well...LOL.

Thanks Stormzy. I might suggest you try getting some of these hybrids...not as expensive as Neofinetia but depending on the hybrid, you'll get some lovely blooms like this Darwinara that Colette got.
