Yeah, you did. Yaegoromo and Tenkei Fukurin

I scored the HIME-KAIOUMARU real cheap.

Neofinetia Falcata Solid Base Variety Japaneseorchid Hime Kaioumaru

I let the KUROSHINJU go after it passed my 81 max bid to 86. I have enough expensive bean leafs for the moment and I already have a nice clump of KUROSHINJU's cousin, Senzai, from a few weeks ago.

My eye is on that diminutive, but beautifully tiger variegated, Kara Nishiki for tomorrow, even though I already have a much bigger, longer leafed version of same. See my other thread with question about variations in size.

Yeah, I knew I didn't have to announce my wins! I was watching the Hime-Kaioumaru, I thought I recognized your eBay sign! I got interested in the Yaegoromo when I saw it on the "Ancient Fukiran" thread.

I saw your thread on the Kara Nishiki, that one up for auction is a nice plant. I don't have this plant so I could not opine what size it should be. That is part of the Neofinetia allure, so many mutations, it's a wonder people can keep each variety identified.

Good to know you have a lot of discipline not pressing the "confirm bid" button Ryan. So what did you get from NWO?

I concur.

I asked Satomi to bring some screw leafs for me to choose from. I know I won't be walking away from their POE table empty handed.

Does anyone know if Hakuseiryu is suppose to be a screw leaf (aren't -ryu's generally)? Mine isn't. But like the Karanishiki, its not a full length leaf either. I like it better.

The Hakuseiryu pics google finds on a couple Russian forums shows straight leaves and the New World Orchids listing doesn't mention leaf shape.

Two screw leafs that come to mind are Seiryujishi and Daiseiryu (which SE describes as a big type of Seiryujishi), both of which are also needle leaf.

I remember one other really gnarly twisted leaf variety was discussed here a while back, but the name escapes me; I just remember that the one posted on ebay at the time looked like it had been beaten with an ugly stick.

I think Matt has a bunch of screw leafs.

EDIT: Heck yeah he does:

Contorted and Twisted Neofinetia falcata

Naw, I'll be unleashing the dreaded bullet-proof bid on this one.
