Acquiring Neofinetias Via EBay
Yes, that one. I can't help myself. I love these Fugaku. I'm also considering the sedirea.

Didn't get it but that's ok. I have my eye on a new kinrokaku that's pretty nice.

Spent entirely too much last night and tonight (3 plants total), but no buyer's remorse (I'm shameless).
Neofinetiafalcata Popular Bean Leaf Great Presentation Japaneseorchid Senzai
Neofinetia Falcata Cute Bean Leaf Good Presentati Japaneseorchid Beni Musou
Neofinetia Falcata BEEN Leaf Yellow Stripe Japaneseorchid Kinkujaku
I already have a single growth Beni-musou, but I liked this 3 growth one better. Maybe I'll trade out my other one.
I do have to take a good look at the Senzai when I get it. One lower leaf tip appears black, so I may need to cut that.
Anyone else grab anything good from this weeks batch so far? I know at least Matt got a few.

While I was busy watching the SE auctions, I missed noticing that newworldorchids put up a new batch this evening for Wednesday night, including some in spike. I just now happened across their facebook posting about it.

Fun fact, The 11th Edo Shogun, Ienari Tokugawa, was a huge collector of these, giving him one he liked would get you a large estate. People under him would seek out new mutations and varieties in hopes of gaining favor with him. Also I'm getting some Neofinetia richardsiana once it was up here. Excited for a small one like that.

You can purchase Neofinetia richardsiana from Hengduan Mountains Biotechnology in China. Holger Perner and his wife come to several shows and conferences in the US each year and can mail out plants to you. Holger will be a speaker at the Paph Forum in DC in February. Ask for their latest price list Hengduan Mountains Biotechnology Ltd.
Neo richardsiana is not on their price list, but I contacted them and got one from them. Tell them Rangiku sent you.
Still need to take a pic of it; I promised Matt I would.
