And another 15 for Wednesday 01/22/14. BUT before we go further...I hope every one in the USA and even around the world--is taking the time to contemplate the life and writings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This is one of the few holidays that does NOT require buying something to give someone, but a holiday to pause and reflect on how we can all be better people. At least that's what I'm doing.
SORRY, SO off-topic!

Same here, Matt. Also do a lot of thinking on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

Without sounding too critical, some of their offerings are not true to names. For example, SANKANOU (三冠王) is not a Den. moniloforme clone, but it is Den. Ise (catenatum x moniliforme). I have the same thing, and I am pretty much sure. I believe in this particular case, the name of Den. moniliforme parent used is commonly known.
I also think it is not a straight Onc. cheirophorum, but actually Onc. Twinkle (x sotoanum). I do not want to sound holier-than-thou, but this echos my sentiment that some Japanese really do not understand the RHS registration system.

Thanks, but I eventually acquired one. It arrived with a broken spike, so I have to wait till summer for it to bloom.

I'm glad you were able to get one already.
Now if I can just get mine to bloom under my care. I'm hoping it wont be too many years away.

I'll stick with my little single-growth Seionishiki for now.
I'm drooling for the Koganenishiki with one minor reservation - looking at the dried bases of lost leaves on the biggest growth, it appears that it dropped other than the bottom-most leaves twice. Minor nit though and it appears quite healthy at present.
EDIT: Teh google tells me Matt acquired one of these from SE last month at a bargain price.

LOL! You are a really excellent internet investigator. YES! I do have Kogane-Nishiki. I have one from Orchids Limited--acquired back in July and then again last month. My two are not as nice as the one up for bid from NWO.
