Hello Biochick! Good to see you on board! I hope you and Glenn are doing very well. I'm glad to see you all back on eBay too.

Hey Matt! It's great to be back! Hoping to get more plants on eBay on a more regular basis. I hope with no more of this bid retraction nonsense... Very disappointing for us, needless to say. But I know amiracola will be really happy if he gets the plant at the current price!!

Exactly thank you for explaining it better Jay. Definitely no current dead leaves on your plants...ever. I keep getting into trouble because I am totally ignorant thanks guys for bringing me up to speed. I would never presume to be critical I simply don't know & am looking for answers.

Question...do the purpleish leaves on my Hokage add to it's value.

Ginger, here is a description from eBay:

"HOKAGE is very special variety in all tiger stripe and have white, yellow and scarlet variegation on their foliage. This feature was very new to the Fukiran world so it had sold in very high price around the time they are introduced to the society at the first time. Scarlet variegation is not just about it. They also produce wonderful ruby roots in spring. This is one of my favorite variety because of the intersting features and the beauty of mixed color that they produce. Now, it is getting reasonable because of the reproduction from seedling but you will definitely will enjoy their beautiful scarlet variegation that changes every year and show us different face."

You always come through for me Matt. Are those dark leaves considered to be scarlet? I have so much to learn. My daughter is here to help me out with my back surgery. Anyway she counted 42 Neos and called me obsessed...smile...so true and it is wonderful.

Yes, your Hokage has "scarlet" leaves, Ginger. I guess that is a relative term. Forty-two Neofinetia? Wow, you are barely obsessed! I think you need to have over 100 Neofinetia before you can be considered "obsessed" LOL!

I see newworldorchids has added 4 Neos for a Tuesday evening auction now.

I may have to bid on the Suikaden. I already have one, but an evil mouse that had been running amok here chewed several of its leaves. Didn't quite kill the plant, but left it looking a bit ugly.

Jay (now this is is joke) but you are like a devil announcing the new Neos on eBay & among them is a Fuukiden tempting us. Thanks for the heads up & we have to get your evil mouse.
