Oh wow I am feeling so bad I thought that was you doing your killer bid thing. Now I offer my most sincere apology & thank you for allowing me to win it. That other guy was fierce. I am watching that plant several times a day it gets outstanding care & love. The next one that comes up is yours but darn they are not easy.

I snagged a couple tonight. Missed the Koukaimaru, but won the Junihitoe and the Enkai without spending too much.
Now I just have to wait a bit, since SE isn't doing any shipping till next Monday.

I was going to bid on the Yodo-No-Matsu but was too late--I got engrossed in the weather report--by New Year's Day, day time temperature will get as warm as 16*F, overnight dropping to 1*F. People around here say prosaic things like "Thank God the cold weather will kill all the bugs of summer."
Congratulations on winning the Junhitoe and the Enkai. I am trying to get more "kai" suffixed named bean leaf plants. But in no hurry, this cold weather and the fact that SE isn't going to ship until next week, gives a nice break.

Heads up: newworldorchids has a couple Neos listed for auction mid-day this coming Sunday. A 4 growth Kishu Ryokufu has already been bid up by 2 bidders from $80 to 187.50. And there's a nice Beniougi, 1 growth + baby starting at 75.
Also, greeny-pottery in the UK has "Neofinetia falcata Calendar 2014 with Meikan" listed as 'Buy It Now' for GBP 29.99 (approx. US $49.67) + GBP 6.50 (approx. US $10.77), with 7 available.

Me too! YOU ARE INCORIGIBLE Jayfar. It is a huge calendar. Glenn-San gave me 2011 calendar, and even though it is now four years old, it is very beautifully produced. This 2014 calendar looks like it came from the same producer. Wonder why someone in the UK can offer this calendar and not someone here in the USA. Hmmmm, I wonder if Glenn has one for sale?

Guess I'd better order one too then. Can you tell whether the Meikan is also the latest? I don't know how to read the year on the chart. I wonder whether this Meikan is bound as part of the calendar or separate.

I got my confirmation from eBay. The whole thing, shipping included is over US$62! That's the price of two Neofinetia plants! But if my old calendar is any indicator, it will be beautiful and worth it.
