Here are some of the last ones.

The plants were very nice this year. I was able to meet many Neo growers and put faces to names. Dr. Lehr was hilarious as always and Satomi was attending to everyone who had questions.

I was also able to speak to Mr. Kasahara and he gave me a few pointers on some plants I had. I also showed him my 4 spurred Manjushage that came from his nursery. He's apparently never seen one and told me that I have to make that plant do it again!

I brought home a few plants, though not as many as I've purchased in the past. I finally got a Byakko after trying to track one down for so long. I also got a Murasaki-Hime (Darwinara cross) that has deep purple flowers and a new seedling cross (Shutennou x Senzai) Senkoumaru, that I took a chance on. It has the tiniest bean leaves, even smaller than my Senzai and I'm hoping it will spike with a red/pink flower...we shall see! I also got a Sedirea japonica Seigyokumaru. I'll try to get pictures of those later.

So was Ginsekai first place? Who was the grower of that plant posing with Mr. Kasahara?

Ginsekai is amazing....wow. Just wow. I love that one.

And Kinkujakui... can't wait until mine looks like this! Awesome pics, Therese!!!!!!!!!!!

It was and Kinkujaku was 4th, both grown by Tat Wai and that's who is posing with Mr. Kasahara. Sorry forgot to post about that.

This particular Ginsekai has mutated in a couple of ways; Satomi said the leaves are usually more curved, but the plant's leaves including the babies, are growing straight. Also the babies are mutating into something else, but I can't remember the name.

I personally didn't care much for Kinkujaku, but seeing it grown this large has changed my mind. I asked Tat about that and he said he's had it for a few years, but bought it when it was already quite large...so I'm gonna guess 5+years.
