Unfortunately my phals didn't bloom but my neo now has 4 or 5 total spikes on two of the three fans.
Now that I've researched these more, I'm thinking it'll remain outdoors year round (except while blooming so we can enjoy the beauty and fragrance). In my limited experience, the cold winter isn't necessary to induce flowering.

Thank you for the info.
By the way, are all neos pretty much take the same care or are there some that do need "cold" winter rest to bloom?
I need to know this before I start buying more of these plants.

Is it unusual that neos are fragrant during the day time??
Mine is indeed fragrant all day and all night. the intensity is much stronger at night.
Maybe its fragrance emitting gene is messed up, which is a bonus for me.
