Well Ryan imitation is the greatest compliment so here is my attempt at making a pot. I went to Michaels yesterday to get supplies. Looked at some YouTube videos on how to work with polymer clay and put it together this afternoon.
Here are pics if the supplies and of the pot before baking it. I now have to glaze it and paint. It was kind of fun I didn't break a nail but had to lotion up my hands as the clay was rough on them
I don't know yet what I'll do with the painting I have some gold paint so I know I'll use that. Thanks for the kind words I surely don't know what I am doing but it is fun. You gave me a gift by posting your pots and inspiring me to give it a try. I am having fun...my husband just grunted.
Here it is after the painting. I will glaze it once it is dry. It is unfortunately lopsided because I used an old bent up pizza pan to bake it. Lol, big mistake. Also that braiding on the top is uneven & thicker on one side. We won't even discuss the childlike painting but I had so much fun and I think I can profit from the mistakes I made with this first first pot.
Also my Kinkousei came today from Orchids Limited and it will have a home in my home made pot
