I have made many things with this in the past. Now I am wanting to try the pots [I just bought a rhynchocorides on ebay]

I have never used it until last week....never! You will be able to make some fabulous pots since you know the medium and you are an artist.

Congrats on your rhynchocorides they are beautiful.

There is nothing wrong with a primitive look. It's rather rustic.

I really don't think it is bad. I have bought a few orchid pots at garage sales that have the charming home made look. I love them.

Just got some supplies from Michaels!!! All I need now is a tutorial *Hint Hint*

I also got some enamel paint, the kind for model cars and airplanes, to paint the pot I have and I'm getting. It's a small general and boring clay fukiran pot. I'm gonna paint it white with a band of navy seikai waves and gold detailing

Ok all any ideas of how to get the clay to fit the desired shape without it getting so lumpy? It's driving me mad.
