We won't even discuss the childlike painting but I had so much fun and I think I can profit from the mistakes I made with this first first pot.

Also my Kinkousei came today from Orchids Limited and it will have a home in my home made pot
I love it!

Oh thanks Bob I keep saying it was fun and it is. I used those acrylic paints that come in the little jars. They are very easy to use and inexpensive. I got them at Michaels when I went in my initial pot making trip. I am going to take my time and try to do a better job on the next pot.

Thanks for the kind words and thanks Pilot for showing me that it is doable. I have spent more money on pots than I have on the orchids which is nuts because none of my orchids will be judged.

Should I be posting here now instead of the other thread? The other one is lengthy.

Potted my minmaru today. All of my sedirea are in these husky pots. Neos in the more traditional looking pots.

Aw you're welcome. But hey this is why I love this hobby. I love to share things from plants to ideas.

I like that your pot is a bit lower on one side. It makes it look like the pot is bowing. Lol. I truly like it! Are you pleased?

Actually I am very pleased as I never thought I could do anything close to it and as you said it is fun sharing the plants and just the enthusiasm for the hobby.

Here is one I did last night. I used a fingernail file to try to smooth out the rim, no luck. My husband looked at me and shook his head then gave me some sand paper. It still looks lumpy. I wonder where we could get a mold?

I have a lot of painting to do on this on. That is relaxing so I look forward to it.
