I'll admit Ryan, I've been waiting to see a tutorial so I could try doing this myself. But you are having too much fun making your own! So I've decided to give it a try and just wing it. Wish me luck

Oh thanks Rebecca but it all looks tacky to me not neat and methodical like Ryan's work. I must admit though that it is very relaxing making these pots and so satisfying to use them on our Neos it just makes more special.
You must just jump in and give it a try that is what I did. Read both of these threads, look at some YouTube videos and wander around the hobby store. If you have questions we are here to try to answer them. I know I will never make them to sell there is no time and they look crappy. Lol

No Jean it is not porous I have never worked with any kind of clay before but I like this stuff. My biggest irritation is finding a good mold. I have been using tea light candle holders. Ryan told me to wrap the glass holder (your mold) entirely in foil and it will slip out easily after you bake it in the kitchen oven. I used a water based acrylic paint but you really don't have to do a lot of painting as the clay comes in great colors. I just like trying to paint them up and make them feminine.....for me.
Enjoy!
