On a side note, I am really confused as of why I have a yellow and a white flower on a same spike of a same plant of what was sold to me as Amani.. Is that normal? Yellow flower opened few days prior to white one and was mostly white at first with some light purply and then went all yellow but looks healthy..

That's odd! Especially because the yellow forms (Kibana for instance) are not actually pure N. falcata. By the looks of it, it looks liek the yellow one is just an old flower that is dieing, but if you say it opened recently, then I have no idea!

BTW, as of yesterday there's a fresh batch on ebay japaneseorchids with the auction ending late Sunday evening. I just thought that was worth a mention, since they don't always have anything listed.

Didjya get one?

I only bid on one this weekend and I got it. The Hisui.

Neofinetia Falcata Green Flower Fragrant Japanese Orchid Hisui

Still more were added last evening, but I think I'd better sit out this round.
