I wonder if that label is mis-spelled or is Yasuru an alternate spelling of Yasuri (鑢), which has definition of file or rasp? The reason I ask is that the one I'm getting via ebay is spelled YASURI-TAKAKUMA 鑢高隈. Yasuri is also the only spelling of this I can google up on teh intarwebz, other than this thread.

I may have misspelled it. Or my label my have been misspelled. It has the Japanese characters on it so I'll double check. I'm sure you're right though.

Compare the kanji on the tags.

That's what I thought. Mine arrived a few minutes ago, but only has a handwritten tag with no kanji. The ebay listing has kanji though: YASURI-TAKAKUMA 鑢高隈.
May as well drop the ebay description into the thread as well:

YASURI-TAKAKUMA has beautiful tiger stripe as TAKAKUMA but this is not the mutation from TAKAKUMA(one of tiger stripe variety). This variety is mutation from solid base variety which have rasp texture on their foliages. So this is not Takakuma which has rasp texture but rasp texture variety which has takakuma-like variegation. Not only variegation but the texture is important feature for Fukiran.

Because I was just looking at NWO's website...and because of recent discussions elsewhere...
I really appreciate SE's description, information about each plant.

I have the same Kanji on my tag. I'm pretty sure it's just a spelling mistake on my tag.
