I cannot reiterate enough how kind and generous Dr. Lehr is. I cannot wait to see what he sends for our OS auction in September.

Nice plants for sure and ill second (or third rather) the praise for dr Glenn. He spoke at the Denver society meeting in march and it was awesome. And what's even better is how when you call him, he will chat your ear off and is making jokes left and right. So funny and he's such a pleasure.

Thanks Ryan for jogging my memory. When I got Tapatalk, I spent 99 cents for something like Tapatalk HD for the iPad. This is the device I'm using to take these pictures and uploading to this website. It really is easy.

Amazing what can happen in the span of 4-1/2 months, eh?

So Matt, what's your current Neo count? Enquiring minds want to know.

I've only got 23 (will be up to 24 Monday) and began just a month before you.

Hi Jayfar! Gosh it's only been four and a half months? It seems like just yesterday. I have learned a lot about Neofinetia since that fateful day I started this thread and asked for recommendations. After this weekend, when I brought home two Amami Hiroba and a Yubae from a follow up visit with Dr Glenn Lehr, I now have 58. The two Amami Hiroba each have seed pods, so I'm turning another curiosity into fruition with these two plants and the Koukakuden 紅嚇殿 "Majestic Crimson Lord", purchased last week--seed pod development and flasking--which I'll send off to Meyers Lab when they are ripe--is that the correct phrase?

My next step is to figure out how I can become a moth and pollinate some of these lovely plants of mine. But that won't happen until Spring time.

I have surpassed my own folly. AND I asked coffeecup to send me her re-homing list AND I actually ordered three Phalaenopsis from her!

I'm still contemplating acquiring some of her Neofinetia as well. Folly and foolishness is what grandmother used to say when she came across people who had no good reason to spend money other than to spend it! Good ole grandma couldn't grow a house plant even if she hired a gardener. But she did raise a pretty smart man!

I have to go back and do a head count of my plants. I still have a lot...even after helping some of you fuel this habit!

There are very, very few Neos on my wish list these days. I think all that are left are the *extremely* expensive ones. Ones that I highly doubt I'll purchase anytime soon.

I have only three on my wish list: Manjushage, Fukiden, Mangetsu.
