Opps, I did it again... I thought I was through, with buying more Neos...but JAYFAR said, try Orchid Web, they have pictures...and these four Neos called to me. These four are called: Aojiku Yoroidoushi , Kogane Nishiki, Awaharibeni, Kagerou.
And now I have eight! (This has got to be it!)

Wheeee, and it's off to the races!!!!!!
OW only has about 56 more listed. I hope you have a good paying job.
I've only had Neos for less than two months myself and here I go already dragging others down with me.
I'm going to keep quiet about my wish list so you don't beat me to the best specimens.

Oh dear...everyone he thinks he's done. Should we tell him how it really goes?
Great additions! But start saving for the next group.

My problem is space. I am running out of room. The tray of Neos fits in with a tray of Phapiopedeliums on the same shelf in my breakfast room. I'm going to stop looking at websites. I'll still read this board, but I am NOT going to look at all the pretty pictures of orchids I don't have!

Attachment 83566I didn't want to brag, since this plant came home June 07, 2013, but after reading another thread I started to look at this plant, and over the days, the little growth started to lengthen and now it is showing three flower buds. Notice too, just to the right of the flower spike, is another growth bud. This plant is called "Kagerou", or "Filament of Air".

I guess I am BRAGGING! LOL. It is Friday, four days later, the flowers are getting bigger. The spurs are curving. The little growth on the right side of the plant is also getting larger. The plant leaves seem to be green but at the plant base are three colors--gold, light green and red splotches.

Yep, you have the 'fever'!!! A lot of us have it. I started with just a couple of them 2 years ago, now I have 40. I used to think $15 for a 1 growth plant was a lot, now $50- 60 seems ok. You will get there too. Just relax and enjoy the ride....Jean
