Default Classic Neo article from Orchid Digest

I just happened to stumble across this via google. The Greater Las Vegas Orchid Society newsletter reprinted:

DEMYSTIFYING THE ORIGIN OF NEOFINETIA FALCATA. Part 1 - THOMAS JOSEPH MULHOLLAN, M.D., Orchid Digest, July, Aug, Sept 2004.

See pages 5-11 of the linked pdf:

http://glvos.org/Newsletters/Newslet...VOS/2-5-06.pdf

Unfortunately, the copy in their newsletter appears to be missing a couple pages of the original article.

Now if only I could find a copy of the Jason Fischer Neo article in O.D.

It would be awesome if we could compile all the English publications together. They're so hard to find! Thanks Jayfar!

I contacted Orchid Digest today and found they still have the back issue 70-2 from 2006 with the Jason Fischer article, "Fuukiran, The Living Antique."

It's not directly available via their online shopping cart, but if you write to membership@orchiddigest.org first, Michael Pugh will have you order one of the listed special issues online, but then you'll add a note in the final checkout. He'll intercept the order and adjust the cost to $14. Mine is on its way.

Jay, thanks for reminding me of this issue and how to purchase just it, not the entire volume as OD would like you to. I was about to email Michael, but first double-checked the stash of old OD issues that a kind CAIOS member gave away. Lo and behold the precious issue! Thanks again!

Just got my issue in the mail today. It took about 5 weeks so for those of you who are ordering it, be forewarned! Thanks Jay for reminding me about this.

Excellent! Glad to hear it finally arrived. Coffeecup already knows this, but for the benefit of anyone else reading the Jason Fischer OD article, basically a lot of fascinating stuff that didn't make the cut from the editor making a 10 page article out of the 15 pages worth he had submitted, read the classic Slippertalk forum thread, "Paging Jason Fischer...Japanese orchids." I don't know if I'd be allowed to post a link to another forum here, but a google search on that title finds it easily.
