Ok one more... These things are addictive to make. This time though I made the pot taller and the rim wider and flatter like you'd see on a traditional neo pot with small feet. I also put the gold clay through the roller so the surface is flush. Worked like a charm.

Okay Pilot I am serious that is a masterpiece; it is time to share your pots with those of us who are willing to put money in our budget for them. Get on eBay ASAP!

I like the shape, lip, and feet of this one much better! I like the marble on the one before it better though!

Hi Ryan, I assume you are making the front foot of each pot slightly larger or more prominent than the other two, per standard fukiran pot protocol. I couldn't tell for sure from the photos, but I'm guessing you know about that.

I too look forward to seeing your pots available on ebay.

Actually I didn't know that! Makes sense, as you'd want to know which side of the plant is the front. I haven't made them bigger but I have taken special care of the "front foot" by spending more time making sure the foot looks the best.

Like they say, put your best foot forward.

Being neo to Neos myself, I don't have an actual fukiran pot in my possession for reference, but I'm sure one of the other posters in this thread could help with more precise info on the differentiation of the front foot.

On this next one I worked on getting better rim and overall shape and getting the feet to be seamless and better formed. This is unfinished. I have painting to do before the finish goes on.

Do you glaze them in some way? I think you really have something here.
