Please just PM me if you're interested in some. Refrain from posting. This thread is mainly for finding out for the NoID ones.
Thanks everyone for the interest!

Have you thought about emailing Satomi to see if she's willing to look at your pictures? She'd probably agree to it.

I have, but she is out of town right now. I'm impatient. If I haven't solved the mystery by then, she'll be getting an e-mail from me :P
I still haven't gotten a response from an e-mail I sent to her on Wednesday yet. I don't wanna overload it.
I'm already a neo nut to her.

That's funny. She and her sister know me very well too for the same reason! Do you know if she went back to Japan?

This is unreal... Orchids at a garage sale?
I'm not a neo nut....*scratches neck, glassy eyes wide open like an addicted person*. Nope I have this under control.

The second mystery, i'm confident says Benimatsu no Tora (紅松のトラ)
The first mystery is a bit more difficult. The last two characters are "mameba" indicating that it's a bean-leaf. The first character is "Kou" or "Maji" depending on the reading of the character 交. However, the second character is hard for me to make out.
The fact that the plant is specified in its tag to be a mameba, i don't think that the tag shows a "name" as opposed to a description of the plant. It looks like it could say something like "mixed something bean leaf"... hmm. I'll look further into it.

Kouryu (交龍) is the only fuukiran that I'm coming across in my usual sources that starts with the same first character. However, i'd say that i'm only 20% certain about that. I'll see if i can look more into it.

My brother translated it to Benimatsu no Tora as well. However, I don't know if Benimatsu is a real variant.
The messed up writing kinda screwed over Mameba. I understand that it's a bean leaf, but no clue about anything else
Thank you for your input though. I really appreciate it!

Benimatsu comes up on the japanese google searches. This site seems to have the most info: 富貴蘭・紅松 - まるごと富貴蘭 - Yahoo!ブログ
As for the other one, i think it might say something like "mixed hybrid bean leaf"

The site that i linked above, mentions this:
考えてみれば 紅孔雀 淀の松 の交配だから紅松なんですね。
"Come to think of it, I can confidently say that the hybrid of Benikujaku (紅孔雀) and Yodonomatsu (淀の松) would come to be called Benimatsu, wouldn't it?"
The sentence above also uses a word that triggered my memory and confirms my suspicions about mystery plant number one. The tag says: 交配豆葉 Kouhai Mameba, which means "Crossbred Bean Leaf" This means that the plant is either an unnamed new cross, or it's a NOID bean leaf. Unfortunately there would be no way to know its parentage without speaking with the original seller...
