It's slowly starting to warm up now, here in Northern California. Of all the Neos that I have, my Houmeiden is the only one I have seen some very minor, but noticeable growth. New roots are emerging!

I can't say I've had this plant for very long. In fact, I've only received it last month. I'm just really happy it's growing new roots. Every time I look at my Houmeiden, I can't help but smile. So cute and so beautiful. Definitely one of my best purchases!

Just got back from my trip from Southern California and checked on my neos. The roots are growing great

Bud: I don't see an emerging spike but I hope your eyes are better than mine.

Updated the original post with a new photo taken on 3/8/13.

The little gem has extended even further out. Ruby roots are so mesmerizing. Can't wait to see more roots emerge from this tiny little plant
