I feel the same way. Being a frugal Dutchie/New Englandah, I bought really small plants. They don't look nearly as good as the west coast plants I've seen in the 2010-2012 judging. I'm chalking this up as a learning experience and to support the team. Go Fukiran SOA!
Cheers.

I'll flip you for first and second. You might be younger and stronger, but I'm older and wiser.
Actually, if they attend, there's a woman from DC I met at their show and a guy who I think works at the U of D that could give us a run for our money. They have some pretty nice stuff from what I've seen. Like I said though, I'm there to learn this year. I'll be happy just to know why they rank where they do.
Cheers.

Quay is being humble. He has very nice plants he's just at the beginning stage! So am I and would love to go to this show! Stupid matter of 900 miles being in the way. Not to mention the time. It's a time-space continuum issue really...

All two of them!
I don't want to hear it! You're the one going to the DOS meeting to meet and talk to Dr Glenn Lehr and getting a Chabo!

Ryan, is that true? Nice!
Give him Marlene's and my regards. He should remember she works for an endodontist.
We spent some time with him at the Merritt Huntington orchid symposium in Virginia Beach back in 2010. He introduced us to "Old Vine Zinfandel". We were running around VB looking for the Harris Teeter.
Heck of a nice guy.
Cheers.

I hope to. I took about a dozen photos of the Fukiran display at the National Capital Orchid show in DC last October.

Cheers.
