The blooms and plant look fantastic, Sonya. Do you grow your neostylis plants outdoors throughout the year, or do they come inside during the winter? I'm thinking about trying my hand at a couple of these, but I'd like to find out whether they're as hardy as the neofinetia parent (regarding winter cold tolerance) or require the greater warmth of the rhynchostylis parent. Congratulations on your flowers.

Thanks

I have been unsure about the cold tolerance myself. I did read a member saying that they are as, or nearly so, cold tolerant as Neofinetia...

Mine summers outside, where overnight lows are mostly upper 50s, but sometimes lower. It probably took some nights in upper 40s before I brought it inside. I keep the heat low in winter, so usual temps are 60s days (ranging low-mid 60s), nights low -mid 50s. So growing fairly cool.
