New Vanda Catcha Magic Red Male

Today I got myself this Vanda. The colour on the pictures is not correct. It's much more a deeper darker red, almost bordeaux. I found a surprise when I got home with her. There's a second spike on its way. I hope it will continue to develop.

What a beauty! And it looks like a good bloomer too!
I got a free blooming size Lumpini red from a grower I ordered from. I think it is more of a deep magenta, not a true red. I don't know if there is a true red vanda, at least I have never seen one. Either has the grower.

There are vandas in every shade of red. Indeed they are irresistible.
