Yes, I'd agree that those winter temps should be more than enough. Not being from USA I always imagined that southern CA would be warmer in winter ... just shows my preconceptions. When I look at your plant and the leaf tips curving toward the tips, as Jim pointed out, I wonder whether it might be an amami type ... they seem to do this a lot. Maybe you could try this one indoors with a shorter milder winter rest in case it is from a southern island ... just an idea ? My Ryokohou doesn't flower for me, and although I've seen quite a few pictures of this variety, I've never seen one with flowers.
