Default Neofinetia falcata

Have had this plant 4/5 years and have 3 spikes this time. 2 have 7 flowers and one 8 flowers.
I apologise for the photos but can't seem to take a decent one of this with my camera. I've tried in doors and out doors.... The scent is fabulous!

Nenella, this is one of the nicest "mounted on wood/ cork/ rock" neos I've seen on OB. She's grown up beautifully. The way the fans are growing gives this plant very nice shape and symmetry.

Is there something draped over the roots and moss? It's hard to see from the photo but kinda looks like....pantyhose?

Is the mount a piece of hanging wood?

Hi Tracy, Thanks for your compliments.
It's mounted on a piece of bark with sphag round the roots. This has now become a "mound" as I replaced the old sphag in Feb this year and there were so many roots which I needed to cover up to keep moist that it became a mound.
And yes it is pantyhose that keeps the sphag in place. I could probably take most of it off now as roots growing through it.
As for it hanging... it hangs in winter in my S facing terrarium where I have a wire mesh stuck on the glass sides. In spring I put it into my W facing terrarium, to get it to spike, where I can't hang it anywhere (only glass) so I stick the bark piece into an empty pot to keep it upright. Hope this makes sense!

Magnificent display of blooms ! It must be very fragrant in that area within 5 feet radius.
The roots are growing like crazy and you also have new fans emerging...it must be very exciting for you

Beautiful! I love the scent too. My blooms are fading now and I'm sad to see them go. I can't wait tell next year to smell them again! Great growing!

Thanks for all your compliments! Tracy, Bud, s.kallina Wynn and Ron & Jim.
This is one of few orchids I have which has never suffered from anything rot, mealies etc; It just keeps on growing.
